You can upload and format images in the visual editor, and export the final image files when you export your page or email. To add in images, you'll first need to drag in a section or component from the left sidebar that includes a placeholder image.
Image properties
Hovering an editable image within your page or email while in edit mode, you can see:
The image's pixel dimensions.
A notice if no alt text is set.
And a notice if the original placeholder image has not been changed out.
Image options
Clicking on the image brings up various image options:
You can upload an image in place of a current one by clicking on the upload icon (). You can upload JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, and SVG file types. The source image file size is limited to 20 MB.
If you have an image already uploaded somewhere, you can enter the URL for your image by clicking the edit icon ().
Images have an option to display text for accessibility purposes and in cases where images do not get loaded. You can edit your image's alt text by clicking the info icon ().
Optionally, you can add a link by using the link icon ().
If you're prompted with a message notifying you that your image is too small, you'll need to find a higher res image to use. You can refer to the required minimum image size by hovering over the image to see the pixel dimensions below it.
Cropping
If you upload a JPG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF image, you may be given the option to crop it:
The crop area is set based on proportions and sizing of the original placeholder image.
If the image does not have a required height it needs to be cropped to, you'll have the option to skip cropping to place the entire image and have it scaled down proportionally.
If you want to change the cropping for an already uploaded image, you will need to upload the original image again.
GIF and SVG files are not cropped or resized and retain the source file's properties.
