Add team members

Example team screen.

On the team screen, enter the name and email address of the team member you want to bring on and click Invite. The theme will be added to their dashboard and they will receive an email with a direct link to it.

Remove team members

On the team screen, click Remove next to the team member you would like to remove. They will no longer have access to the theme and its emails or pages unless added back on.

Added permissions

Anyone invited in the team screen has a limited role of Editor that allows them to build and edit pages and emails and invite other editors.

As an owner or admin on a team, you can give people roles with added permissions. To set these roles, click the settings icon () at the top.

On the settings page, you can see all the owner(s) and admin(s) for the team.

You have the option to Add another admin. As an admin, the user is able to upload new themes, and update current ones, including deleting a theme. They can also manage theme settings and setup integrations.

If you are an owner, you can also set someone to the owner role here, under Add another owner. The owner role has added access to billing and payment for your team. And owner is also automatically added to any theme that's created under their team.

Roles and permissions

Access levels are grouped into several roles in Blocks Edit, each with their own permissions:

Permissions Review link Editor Admin Owner
Preview pages and emails
Add comments
Build and edit
Invite others to build and edit
Update theme and settings
Manage integrations
Team and billing

When signing up for an account, you will have your own team where you have the owner role. As an owner, you can view all the themes under your team, including the ones someone else adds.

Anyone you invite to a theme can build new pages and emails and edit current ones. If you are invited to a theme, you are given the same permissions.
